And again, the WHOLE thing.

All 96 figures, displayed by set.

Marvel at the Bottom, Star Wars in the Middle and DC on Top.

Villains on the Left, Heroes on the Right.

I've included a Greybishop to give you a better idea of the scale.

Amazing achievement GB!

Have you made a board too?

Hey Sawsee!

No board yet. I'm still designing that part. I have a few ideas but nothing firm yet.

The boards need to be special. I'm a big fan of traditional chess sets and boards, but these are NOT traditional sets, so the boards have to reflect that.

The next stage is actually not the boards, but putting these little guys in their individual glass enclosures and etching the appropriate chess symbol on the top of the glass. Tedious and time consuming, but it's the next step.

I also have some preliminary ideas for a display for each set once they're finished. Everything will be posted as I progress.

That is so amazing!! I don't know how you didn't go blind painting those little guys!!! I still love me some Thor!! I'm very lucky to have my own!!!

Congrats on finishing!

Hey guys!
Yeah, it's nice to be done.

Sorta.

I already miss having painting to do.

Since my etching stuff hasn't arrived and the board building is not quite sorted out yet, I'm at loose ends!

Still, it's nice to have the figures finished and ready for the next steps.
