Hi, GB. This chapter was very hard to read for me. I skipped portions of it and I know you know why. The character development was good. The heart of any book, sci-fi or otherwise, is connecting with the characters. While the fun parts of books and movies is the action, if we don't feel for the characters, it's all pointless.
Joe, I can imagine why this particular part was difficult for you and I hope that reading it didn't cause you too much pain.
Thanks for taking the time (and trouble) to read it anyhow. Your input is always appreciated.
