Game of Thrones!

Five promotional posters for the new show!
The first one is a GREAT shot of Sean Bean as Ned Stark sitting on the Iron Throne. It is reminiscent of the promo for The Tudors (and probably a hundred other movies and tv shows about kings) but what's great about Game of Thrones is that Ned Stark has NO ambition to the throne and spends the book trying to keep the king in power while protecting his own family. That makes the poster all the more powerful.

The next four are individual character posters with their credo overlaid.

Ned Stark

King Robert Baratheon

Queen Cersei Lannister

Exiled Queen Daenerys Targaryen

I'm gonna go hold my breath until April 17 now.

Sean Bean? Might I be related? ;o)

How odd to have your first name and last name differ by only one letter.

An old buddy of mine went to school with a "Jerry Berry".

Same guy also had a classmate named "Chester Fields". True story.

Oh and Sean Bean (How tempting would it be to tease him by calling him "Seen Been"?) is the British actor who played Boromir in The Lord of the Rings movies and may be best known as Sharpe from the series of BBC TV movies based on the Sharpe's books.

IMDB calls him "England's most versatile actor".

He's a fave of mine and I was JAZZED when I heard he was playing Ned Stark. Best casting choice among some of the best casting I have EVER seen!
