Ain't It Funny!

Ain't it Cool News is a site I visit regularly. If you like comic books, sci-fi and/or super-heroes and movie and television that relates to them, it's one of several sites I can recommend.

One of the unique features at Ain't it Cool is the Behind the Scenes Picture of the Day. They (almost) daily post a picture taken during production of a movie or tv show. They're not limited to just sci-fi/comic book/superhero shots either. It's more of a love letter to film in general than any specific genre.

Today's was from classic Star Trek. Fans will recognize the episode immediately.



What prompted me to re-post it wasn't the shot itself. Below the shot on the Ain't it Cool site there's a comment area. Like most comment spots on the web the content runs from stupid to brilliant, from banal to urbane. It's usually pretty standard stuff. Today's was like that, except for these two comments:

Why are those men wearing high heels?

Followed by:

The one in red has high heels and a purse!
