It's finally, really, actually happening!
This September 18, I will be counted among the officially published!
Remember all those recaps I wrote about LOST, oh, so long ago? It seems that they got noticed outside our beloved Purple Hatch. About 2 years ago, I was contacted by the publisher of a new venture, Take2Guides with an offer to have some of my work published in their upcoming guide to LOST.
Someone wanted to pay me to put my words in (electronic) print! No extra work from me, just give 'em permission to lift some of words from my blog and fold them in to a new form.
Lemme think about that for a sec...
Hells YEAH!
At the time, the timeline was about 5 or 6 months out for the book to hit and that's about when I dropped the first "Big news a-comin'" hint. Luck and suchlike conspired to delay and delay. In the meantime the publisher got their guide to Steven Spielberg out (you can search it at Amazon using the word "Take2guide" and Spielberg. That gave me confidence and more hints were dropped.
But all that delay has finally been resolved. I got word today. More than that, I got a website with a countdown clock and you too can check it out by CLICKING HERE.

The book has it's own dedicated website which, at the moment, is set up as a 'Coming Soon' site complete with a countdown clock to the release. The site is open to everyone and also includes the ability to download a 400 page sample of the book in pdf, mobi and ePub file formats. (Mobi's are for Kindles and ePubs are for all other eReaders.)
The book will be on-side through Amazon, iBookstore, Google Books, Kobo, Nook and from our own dedicated store from September 18. By having our own store we are able to offer special sales promotions ... especially to the users/readers of our contributors.
So when it comes out I'll have a coupon here that you can use to buy a copy at a discount. Of course, you can buy it through anyone listed, but apparently I'll also get a commission if you use my coupon. So there's that.
And for the curious, I contributed a total of 5 articles. Considering the episode guide portion of the book is 350 pages, I'm not a huge contributor but...
