Classic Reprints - The Spider: Volume One

One of the great things about public domain material is that you can use the characters as I've been doing in my Public Domain Super Heroes project.

Another great thing is that once something is in the public domain anyone, anywhere can reprint or remix those works in any way they like.

So.

I'm launching my new line of classic reprints. I will be collecting, reformatting and reprinting selected pulp, sci-fi, horror and fantasy works. The covers will be uniform, the layouts modern and easy for modern readers to enjoy. 

The first volume has already been released. The Spider: Volume One, collects the first four novels from the Spider Magazine. Thanks to unrenewed copyright, the first 12 novels from the series fell into the public domain some time ago. The rest of the 118 total novels will start to enter the public domain in 2030. I will be reprinting the entire run, eventually.

 

Each volume will include a brand new short story from Public Domain Super Heroes.

This volume includes:

The Spider Strikes (October 1933)

The Wheel of Death (November 1933) 

Wings of the Black Death (December 1933)

City of Flaming Shadows (January 1934)

And

The Sizzling Spider & The Sinister Skull, a brand new short story starring The Sizzling Spider.

Volume Two to be released in the Spring of 2026.
