So the pictures below aren't just me playing with the buttons in Photoshop. These are snaps of a real place that decided to go with "striking and memorable" over "subtle and quaint" for their newest tourism push.

It's amazing that they got all those roofs painted, but I think the bridge and port structure are even more impressive even if they aren't as easy to see in the pictures.
And it is my new life's mission to walk across this bridge one day. Whoever the mastermind behind this scheme is, I doff my purple cap to them.
