Just returned from getting dose 1 of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Currently I have to wait 12 weeks for dose 2. It may be that number will go down over the next few weeks. Great if it does, but I'm not going to count those particular chickens just yet.
For anyone out there worrying about the shot itself, I've had bug bites that hurt more. Truth be told, I didn't actually feel more than a mosquito sting and if not for the band-aid on my upper arm I would honestly wonder if I'd had a shot at all.
It's too early to know if I'll be affected by side-effects. From the folks I've talked to so far, it seems pretty much random as to who feels crappy and who sails through. Fingers crossed.
So I've done my little bit to help us get to the end of this pandemic. Y'all are welcome!

Good luck Big Guy.
I got my second dose in mid April. In my experience the second hits you harder than the first, but really no big deal. 24 hours after dose # 2 I felt completely drained of energy, but it passed within a day. Totally worth it. Though I'm still disappointed I wasn't offered a lollipop.
I had the exact same thought about the lack of a lollipop!
Lemon for me, if you please...
