Back to Hero Forge...

...to cover that awkward silence.  I've had a couple of ideas for posts lately but nothing has resolved itself into an article lately.  So here's a few more of those custom figures I've cobbled together over at HeroForge.com.

This time I'll show you how you could bring classic TV characters into whatever tabletop gaming you're into.  Imagine adding Xena to your D&D campaigns:

You could also build a campaign around a Game of Thrones scenario:

There's also the potential for a Masters of the Universe campaign:

You could even do a mash up adventure.  Say Hellboy Meets The Creature From the Black Lagoon...

If you prefer more classic characters for your campaigns, you can create a really spiffy set of figures to live in Sherwood Forest and fight the evil Sheriff...

Keep in mind, you can pose your custom minis pretty much any way you like, equip them with whatever tool or weapon you can imagine.  You could have a mini with a Xena look carrying a huge machine gun, a medieval knight with a ray gun or a British Bobby with a samurai sword and a magic wand.  The combinations are staggeringly close to infinite.  I really do enjoy just making the characters at their website.  One of these days I'll find a few extra bucks and buy a few just for fun.

Okay.  I'm off to write my next article.  Or eat pie.  It's Sunday, so it's a toss up...

Update:  It was pie.  Who was I kidding?
