And What Did You Do This Weekend?

Me?  I wrote a book.

Yep.  Started at about 3 AM when I got home from work in the early hours of Saturday morning and typed "The End" with an hour and 48 minutes to go before the midnight deadline to be eligible for the 3-Day Novel Contest.

Sadly, unless I want to disqualify myself I can't publish or even self-publish it anywhere until the judges render their verdict. Not even on my blog.

I have no illusions that I'll win, but who enters a contest only to disqualify themselves?

It takes the contest officiants almost a year to get through all the entries and award the one prize on offer, a deal to publish the winning novel through Anvil Press.  I may not expect to win, but I'd sure love to!

Anyhow, I can only share a little bit here but if you're interested, leave a comment or get in touch if you have my e-mail.  Letting a friend read my 3-Day Novel doesn't count as publishing or even self-publishing in my book. so I'd be happy to let you read it.

Oh and in case you're curious, it's a sci-fi murder mystery called Quarks and Re-Creation.

C4L here, That is so awesome!! I would love to read it! Do you still have my email? Also, I looked a while back to try and order a copy of your other book and could not find it. How can I get that one?

I just checked and if you hunt a little on Amazon or Amazon.ca it's still there. A little hard to find because apparently "Bred in the Bone" is a pretty popular book title and there are a bunch of books by that title that aren't mine. It's actually a buddy of mine who sells rare books who has it listed.
Check your e-mail for a copy of Quarks and Re-Creation.
