Anyone Planning To Do This...Don't

I just ran across a disturbing article.  It pains me to write about something nasty on Christmas but this "trend" demands an answer.

Apparently, some parents (and I use that term loosely) are thinking it's funny to dress as the Grinch and film themselves stealing the family Christmas gifts while their terrified children run screaming or in some cases valiantly try to fight back. 

Seriously.

A month or two ago, 5 day care employees in Mississippi were fired and criminally charged for filming themselves terrorizing children in a similar fashion.  I just assumed that parents would never be so evil to their own children.

I don't have kids myself but I'm pretty sure that "don't terrify your children" is in the rule book.  

 

Watching The Grinch is as creepy as a child's Christmas should ever get.

 

So again, and I shouldn't have to say this, but I will:

If anyone plans to do this...DON'T.
