Did Fernando Tatis Jr. double jump??

This is the most astonishing thing I have ever seen happen on a baseball diamond. The replay seems to show Fernando Tatis Jr. actually extending the height of his jump by kicking his bent legs in the air as if he was swimming. It's probably an optical illusion but like the guy in the crowd, I'm left going "Whuuuuuut???????" every time I watch.
