Another round of cost cutting at Warner Brothers Discovery.
Among the casualties is a show called The Nevers that won't even get to finish out the full first season.
For whatever reason, the show's first full season was to be produced in two parts with the first six episodes airing in the Spring of 2021 and the second six intended to shoot later and air sometime next year.
The show was about a bunch of poor folks, most of them women, in Victorian England who wind up with super powers and have to deal with a society that hates and fears them.
Sort of an X-Men in petticoats.
The first half of the first season has already been released on DVD but will now forever be an incomplete set in my collection.
It was an AWESOME show and like pretty much everything I enjoy has naturally now been cancelled.
I really should learn not to like things.
